Just type your question in the chat box and send it — exactly like asking a tutor. You can ask about maths, English, or science. You can also tap the photo button (📷) to upload a picture of a worksheet or question.

Step-by-step (Guided) walks through the problem one step at a time and lets the child fill in each part — best for learning and understanding. Quick answer (Direct) gives the full worked solution in one go — best for checking work. You can switch modes anytime.

Tap the 📷 photo button next to the chat box, choose or take a photo of the question, and send it. Ruiya reads the worksheet and helps with it. Clear, well-lit photos work best.

Each question-and-answer exchange with Ruiya uses one turn. Your plan or access code gives a set number of turns over a period. You'll see a gentle reminder when your balance is running low so you can top up before it runs out.

Ruiya keeps a separate profile for each child. Log in and choose the child you're helping — that session is just for them. To switch to another child, log in again and pick that child (you can use a different tab, window, or device). Please keep your password to yourself.

Ruiya is a strong study companion, but like any tutor it can occasionally make a mistake. If an answer looks wrong, you can flag it right in the chat — that report goes straight to our team so we can review and improve. Please double-check important answers.
